5 times Olamide missed his chance to impress the international market

There is no (real) struggle for supremacy as far as road music is concerned. Olamid is the surplus and reigns, while other aboriginal rappers fight for the remaining titles. Olamide takes the influential positions in "street music" - he is the "voice of the road", the "king of the road" and "the worst (perhaps the greatest) who lives".

Apparently, the king of the road is satisfied with the territory he commands. On several occasions, he argued that he would not be deterred from appealing to the international community - yes, but if the international success was free and did not require any strategic planning or extra effort, Olamign would continue to say no? ?

Olamides takes a cautious approach to this penetration in the international market and it is understandable that it seems better to have an egg today than a hen tomorrow. Olamides has a firm grip on the local market, but some observers believe that it is not just "street material", they say it is a Hollywood material and they would prefer to expect it on the international stage only on Barcelona in an El-Classico game. The rapper MMG, whale is one of these people and he seems to see an international value in Olamide. So he gave the YBNL boss the opportunity to apply for an international exhibition - not once or twice, but several times, but YBNL's boss decided to stay "Street".

Here is a list of 5 times Olamide had the opportunity to impress but not the international community:

Fine Girl: With this song, Olamides best chance on the international show, the song created the album Wale's Shine and of course the album, which was mostly on the American market, the headquarters of music and sad to produce the best Olamide was "beautiful girl to nidi nla "- really? I mean, do not expect it to do anything other than native rap, but make it believable and appealing to the new audience. Say something creative, as in the context of Fine Girl, say that "the girl's eyes are the only Christmas light that deserves to be seen," they say, "she has a walk that can make faith in God Atheist long enough to say damage. Says something creative like the Yoruba and foreigner would want to cross the borders to get more of the native rap of Olamide.

Allelu (Whales, Don Jazzy, Olamides & Reekado Banks): On this song whales presented some of the best stars of Nigerian music to different abilities; undoubtedly our best indigenous rapper, one of our best Afro-Pop stars and an elite producer. Of course, Don Jazzy played because he has nothing to prove as a singer, Reekado gave his promise, but again Badoo rhymes sang. Nobody outside Nigeria would seriously take a Yoruba rapper from a nursery singer, especially if there are so many rappers coming who make the real hip-hop gospel.

Make us proud (Olamide ft. Wale): With a rapper like whales, the song is a kind of international commitment, whether it's legal or not. Make us proud to first attract the attention of music lovers outside of Africa, but attention would probably not love because Olamide was less impressive on the song.
Toka Remix (BeCa x AKA x Olamide): Olamide fell on more than one occasion when it comes to taking a big bite of the apple but he knows how to redeem himself. However, his recent Coke Studio performance is unforgivable. Olamide played alongside two beautiful East African singers and the South African artist, AKA. Unfortunately, Olamide appeared on stage, not different from Dammy Krane, his song was below average and disappointingly, AKA committed the same sin. At the time of the introduction of Olamide, performance began to resemble a talent show audition and Olamide seemed to be a competitor meant for a NO! It was a platform across Africa; West Africa, East Africa and South were watching and always Olamide has failed to sell something worthwhile to ask for more.

Summer Body (Olamide ft. Davido): On the summer body, Olamide did the unusual, although slightly, it seems to have a new audience in mind when recording the song. He went to look for a sketch in English on this song, except for the pamuregeji part and maybe he thought the song would put him on the international map, especially when he had a top international artist as a guest on the track and of course he was singing on a sexy woman with the "summer body" but who here knows what the summer body girls look like? Maybe these people from outside of Africa and maybe those were their target audience on Summer Body. Around here, a girl is hot or not. But with the packaging, did the song hit the new market well? NO!
The close absence of Olamide in the field of international march does not seem to result from a lack of interest but from an unsuccessful attempt and perhaps because of its conservatism. However, its local content, which it is best to create, is beginning to find its way to the public abroad. For example, American producer Swizz Beats made a good grooving show at Wo! and maybe it's a sign that Olamide was entering the international market, but honestly, it seems incredible ....
