Lame Excuses That Successful Bloggers Should Never Make

Successful+Blogger

So spend more time on your blog.

In fact, think about it for a long time.

To think about it. To talk about. But do not do this.

Something keeps you back. In fact, a whole list of things. They lack time, trust, money, ideas.

They are tired, stressed, busy, sick.

So you can wait for the perfect circumstances of blogging.

Until you have free time, balls, overloading great ideas, a guaranteed audience, perfect health ... continue the list.

Unfortunately, you break, but these perfect circumstances will never happen.

Your reasons for not blogging will still be there in a form and in a combination.

They are always confronted with the demons of all times, no support, no money, no trust, no ideas or health.

And when you consider that almost everyone faces the same problems, your reasons begin to look a lot like an apology.

Let us call one by one.

If you are one of the following excuses like what keeps you a serious blogger, you should be bothered.

1. People do not like what I will say,

Blogs can be gentle personal - tear your heart and offer it to foreigners. Even if you are on a non-personal subject, such as business, pet care or education in math blog, your writing is there for the world and judges to see.

I like it or not, your ideas put into the public and the risk that someone does not like - even hate - is the price of joining a successful blogger. If you think your heroes are not nervous about blogging every time they click on "Publish", then you are making fun of yourself.

But clearing creates great advantages. They will open up a lot of readers and let you win so hard in blogging to bring your skills, but very effective: in a fire test.

Yes, you have to deal with enemies. Everyone does.

Over time someone left a comment of 400 words on my blog to complain about two mistakes in my article and say he put me like crazy and tired woman who could not take the time to evaluate.

But by the time the enemies become more fun than frightening. They realize that while they complain, you blog.

Remember, if someone has written a negative response to something you have, this means that your writing is powerful. Your letter has brought someone to respond.

And that must be a good thing.

2. I have nothing new to say

Everything under the sun has already been done, is not it? Feeling like you can not add the conversation as a new blogger is only natural.

But it is not just what you say but how you say it.

Take this publication for example.

This is certainly not the first article ever written about erasing your excuses and writing your fears, but I put my own impact by looking the subject through personal experience. No one had exactly the same experience as I did, no one had worked with the same students and mentees on this topic, no one read exactly what I have, and no one thinks like me.

The truth is that the really original ideas are rare, even for the best bloggers and writers.

Instead, bloggers attract fans because of their personality, their style and their personal point of view - not because they pack with hundreds of exceptionally unique ideas their blog and never made. Few bloggers can.

3. Lots of people about me blog already

Suppose you have a blog about gluten-free cooking. They perform a quick Google search and find out that someone else - a lot of people in fact - had the same idea. Some blog for years.

Why should someone read a blog?

Let's take this view:

There are many blogs on your topic because many people want to read about you.

And they are starving for new information, better information - the same old written information about how you can write it.

For example, as an example, because that is my topic. Think this niche would be its limit, but every year I see new writing blogs start and be successful.

Also, within the sub-niche of blogging, you will find dozens of variations on the subject. A new blog could focus on the craft of blogging, the use of psychological techniques to attract more people to your blog, with guest blogging to get more traffic, blogging to generate affiliate sales, blogging to sell products, Blogging to Sell Advertisements, Blogging For customers, or another of the many beats you can take on this topic.

Much competition is not a valid excuse for blogging - it's a cast-iron reason to blog. In fact, Jon tells his blogging students, "If there are still no popular blogs in your niche - then get out!"

So do not be afraid to plant your stake on a topic that others already cover. You can appeal to a theme in an infinite number of different ways and put your own personal spin on it.

4. I have no time to blog

Your days are packed. You come from morning to night, and you're sure that there's not that much time to work on a blog every day.

Let's go: we're all busy. We all feel like: "All the others are just busy, but I am really, really, jam packed". But if we all feel this way, we must all lie wrong right?

Successful bloggers are just as busy as you are, if not more so. The guy you are so jealous of, who cooks to the post post to the post, has no trust fund and a maid. Like you, he has a job, a family, volunteer obligations, pets, school functions, tasks ... the list goes on.

So the question is not "Where do you want to find the time?" It's "How do you go the time?"

Carry your smartphone and tablet anywhere, and use these random 10-minute blocks of free time to write - while you are in the line at the supermarket, waiting in the dentist's room or waiting for your car to get to school.

It's not perfect, it's not nice and sometimes you might look a bit crazy or obsessive. But you have to do it because it's what real bloggers are doing.

And not just on your blog in the shreds of time that open up in your "real" life. Schedule the time in your calendar. Make it a non-negotiable date with yourself.

If you wait until you have the time, it will never happen. So make the time

5. I have no idea where to start

They make a list of all the tasks that need to be done on your blog and are frozen with a tie. Should you work on your blog design, brainstorming some post-ideas, build your social media presence, or one of the other 200 things on your list instead?

It is enough to end someone in frustration.

Here is a tip: Start somewhere. Serious.

As long as you do something, you'll be ahead of the game.

It is the only reliable way to break the paralysis of indecision.

My secret is to make a list of everything I need to do and then choose tasks on how much time I have to deal with how much energy I have, what I do in the mood, at this moment and my intuition The tasks are most urgent and important.

So you can work me for 30 minutes at a guest post, then write a post for my own blog for another 30 minutes, then spend 10 minutes writing one of my morning motivations for writer emails for the following week.

As a blogger, often it does not matter what order you do things in.

Create a list of everything you need to achieve and begin chipping at it.

6. This is not the right time

Maybe you have a chronic disease and do not want to commit in a blog until you feel better. Or are you in the middle of a divorce. Or your bank account is also empty.

Every time you think you're starting a blog, you say, "This is not the right time. As soon as I take care of problems X, Y and Z, I'll start. "

But the truth is that if you set the X, Y and X, new problems have taken their place.

So you know what? There is never perfect time to do anything. In the words of a sage, it happens. So if you wait for the conditions to be perfect, you will be waiting - well, forever.

You should not boom on your blog goals when the times are difficult. But if you take small steps towards these goals - steps so small that they are easy, regardless of your situation - you will have a sense of control over your life that will help put your problems in perspective.

When life is quiet, smart bloggers took the opportunity to surpass in anticipation of the next perfect storm.

And before you know it, you shoe the subtle transition from the quiet time bloggers to a hero blogs at any time.

7. I am too exhausted

They run all day taking care of small or 9-5 working. Then make dinner, clean, the Munchkins put in bed - and you're done to do everything but melt into the couch and watch the top cook.

In other words, you have no energy in your blog.

This excuse does not happen. You know, why? Because nothing that gives you more energy to work on a goal, you are passionate about.

So if you are too tired at the end of the day to work on your goals, the answer is not leaving your goals - sets more exciting.

With me as an example, I run my own business and my kindergarten my four year old child, while at the end of a typical day, my only desire to dive into my Kindle and enjoy a hot cup of english breakfast.

(And if I'm not the jump design, often I just do it.) Why not?)

But when I was struck by the idea of my last e-book, I was so excited, I magically had the energy to work there until 1am every night, then back in the morning. I have this success - all 180 pages, including the marketing plan and the organization of interviews with 20 authors - in just three weeks.

Try it by yourself and see. Turn off the notebook and work on your blog after hours, and see if you are hit by an outburst of energy and inspiration.

8. What happens if I fail?

They do not want to fail. Of course you do not have to!

Nobody really wants to be rejected, or even worse, to be ignored.

So take the safe way through not working on your blog. Not available Weblog: no chance of fear as a quick review of Google Analytics tells you that no one cares.

But do you know what? The failure to start is just another kind of failure. You end up in the same place as you try to fail or if you do not start at all: without a successful blog and you kicks.

On the danger of the sound cliché, the only way to fail is to not try.

When you try to blog, you have a chance of success and a chance of failure.

If you do not try, you have a chance of 100% impotence.

What is the safer choice?

9. What if I am successful?

Meanwhile, bloggers fear failure, they often fear success.

Unconsciously, you can lose your friends because they will envy your success and do not want to tie with you.

I hear similar concerns of my mentoring customers who want to write for magazines. A minute, they are afraid to never make a sale and their cutters at magazine publishers face a great silence. But in the next minute, they will tell me how wildly: "And if two editors accept my idea at the same time? They'll hate me! "Whaaaa? What is it?

But you are right: If you are so successful, you will probably lose friends. He came to me and, frankly, you're better off without her. The problem is with them, not selling. When friends make envy and express categorical remarks about the success of your blog every time you see them, it will prevent you from becoming your best.

Do not lose the thoughts of losing false friends at a time so that you can seriously take your account to your blog today. There are so many "if" here, it is also not funny.

10. I do not have enough knowledge.

There is so much to know about blogging! They are flooded with advice, courses, books - even other blogs - how to start a blog, and it could just get the information you need to blow up the air in order to be successful.

So you continue to learn, learn and learn, and never leave the launch platform.

The problem is not a clear target line exists. No one can say, "Okay, you already know enough, you stop learning and start blogging."

The best way to learn is from experience. Sure, take a class or book to get you on your way, but configure a blog and start booking. You will learn directly from the response of the reader - or lack of response - what works for you and what does not.

And do not worry: Even if your first messages are terrible, they are soon lost in the sands of time. Check out my first articles on the blog Renegade Writer, from the year 2006, if you want to prove.

11. I do not have enough good ideas.

That's the big thing.

Even if you can pass other excuses, it usually boils below the surface.

What if you do not find enough good ideas to hold a blog?

How do you remain passionate enough to create idea after idea and post a publication after publishing on the same topic? You can now have good ideas, but can you keep publishing week by week, month by month, year by year?

The good news is that you do not have to worry about hundreds of publishing ideas in the bank that you keep constantly.

In the early days, you will want to help a number of post shoes ideas. But as soon as you beat your rhythm, you have more opportunities to keep the ideas coming back again and again.

For example, to beat new ideas, you can:

Prepare for inspired times. You have time when you suddenly meet with a dozen excellent publication of ideas at once - usually in the car, in the shower or while drifting to sleep. Wear a notebook or smartphone so that you can enjoy when visiting the museum. You can even keep a block and pen in bath. (Tip: Do not take your smartphone in the shower!)

Ask your readers to do the work. If you have short ideas, query your readers a free platform like Survey to learn what they want to read. Have they ask their burning questions. You may find that you are neglecting topics that crack your readers.

Give the ideas of social media. On Facebook, Twitter and Google+, see what friends and followers are talking about now. Which topics are to be followed? What is the most intense debate? And what is the greatest confusion? Use one of these themes as a starting point for your next release as a surefire method to deliver the merchandise, even if the inspiration escapes you.
And remember, you do not always need new ideas. Instead, you can:

Invite other authors at the party. Once your blog collects enough readers, writers strive to write for you. They will start you so you do not have to be the source of all ideas. And it's great to always have a new voice in your blog.

Update archive news. After a while the oldest messages are buried by new ones. Revive them by updating the old information, combining the generated points in a list item (each can be a separate contribution), or by combining multiple short messages on similar topics in a summary.

Please check the season. For example, many bloggers have used Thanksgiving promotions to run "thank you" freedoms from what they are grateful for in their industry or offer advice on how to use reader gratitude lists, magazines or meditations to improve their own lives. In January, many readers will try to help a new beginning in their career or personal life, making news, full ideas and strategies to help make this good. And written as they write practically themselves.

You know what I mean? You do not have to be hundreds of new ideas in the bank before you commit your long term blog.

It's time to lose the excuses
If these excuses - or stern, all excuses - you keep, remember that every successful blogger confronts their own demons. They are not inherently immune to fear, insecurity and all other obstacles - they have just learned to pull and act in spite of them. Take a page out of their books and let your passion lead the way, instead of your fear.

Do not tell yourself what others do you can not do. Tell them what you can do. Dig the excuses - and just write.
